Well today id drove 100miles to grimsby, then did what i needed.....drove 2 cleathorpes to show the lass I was with what it looked like as she'd never been before.......drove to the new huge tesco back in grimsby.....park my car and get out....what do I notice.....two wheel nuts lying there! I have a bit of a LOL at this thinking that someones wheel is gonna be falling off soon..........But, then realised they where mine!!!   One of them was a locking wheel nut too......so all I can think of is when i had my service done a week or two ago, the monkey didnt tighten them properly......so tomorrow, im going down there to break some teeth......as I was going pretty fast on the dual carrage ways, so could have been nasty  :x

You should always check your car when going on a long journey, also when you have had work done to your car mate.  :?

To be honest I would have said you shouldnt have to check your car when a service has been done on it....thats the garages job!

I do check my oil etc though regularly....but checking wheel nuts is a bit OTT really....well im gonna now though

I had honda fit some wheel nuts and they put them on too tight, and the locking wheel nut slipped and never turned. I had to go back and get some more put on. If i had had a puncture and was in the middle of nowhere i would have been screwed.

Yeah, wouldnt have been good mate Sad

Had a mate who at the time didnt realise his wheel bolts had been tampered with.....and the cunts had removed 3, but couldnt get the 4th (locking) bolt off.......he was blasting round a corner, and his front wheel actually snapped off the single bolt which was left, and he slid along on his sump for quite a way.......was quite harsh, didnt do too much damage though.

After I first put my rims on, i found after a few trips the nuts were getting loose, maybe this was because they were new or something, or maybe the garage didnt put them on tight enough - but that seems odd. When i phoned them they said that it was normal... hmm lol. But yeah, make sure you check often. I always check mine are tight when i do the tyre pressures.

You know all those stories about jazz musicians who want a very young age and suddenly realize that taking this music is why they were put on this Earth? This is not one of them. Lynne Arriale has not dreamed of playing jazz when she was barely tall enough to reach the piano keys. Although she began studying the instrument at the time she was in kindergarten, mbt scarpe, and has always made a living playing and teaching music, mbt, the exhibition had almost zero Arriale to jazz until she was in the mid-20s. "I may have heard one hour of it before that and I did not get it? Said Arriale, 53,mbt outlet, of the Jacksonville, Fla., home." But I did not know it was not improvised music. I have no idea. "
