The front speakers are 17cm I think, Some good ones to go for are Pioneer TS-E176C (they are the yellow ones!) excellent quality, they have seperate tweeters too. The rear speakers are the same size I think. Unfortunately you won't be able to get much bass through speakers as they can't produce it. The only way you'll get good bass is through a sub. You could get the matching 6x9s for your parcelshelf, 6x9s can produce a little more bass, but again, if it's bass you want then a sub is the only way to go. But these are brilliant speakers, give excellent sound quality.

You don't have to go all out with dual 15" subs for good sound! I've seen tiny subs which have amazing bass! You could get a small one and have it mounted in the corner of the boot where little space is taken up. Go and ask in your local shop about what applications will suit your needs and I'm sure you'll find SOMETHING!
I had a kenwood bass amp which had a bass controler. It simply screws in! I had mine down on the left hand side by the sterring column. All you had to do was turn the dial to adjust the bass  So you can crank it up when you're cruising, and your mum can turn it down when she needs the car! Cheesy

The amp will only make them louder, but the components and 6x9s can't produce bass. Your head unit is more than powerful enough to power your speakers, so there's no need to amp them, however your headunit will NEVER power a sub! A bass amp is a MUST for the sub! It'll make sure it has ample power and will stop your headlights dimming when you crank it up! The higher the frequency, the less power it needs, so mid range to high will be no problem for your headunit, but bass requires more, so you'll need a bass amp for the sub!

LOL @ Liam! Kyle is too young!! Avert his eyes!
