 I'm starting to wonder why i didnt just buy a TYPE R... anyone else been feeling this Most of us, are buying- Spoiler,Wheels, induction kit etc. etc. and tbh, we could all have spent this cash on insurance and bought a TYPE R with plenty of more BHP and interior goodies. I am seriously considering cutting my losses and exchangeing for a TYPE R ,but as always- i will lose soo much money. Any thoughts on this? EP_Riyn

Thought about this many times.
Thing is I'm a serial tamperer (spell checker pleaz!) so give me a Type-R and I'll want to chase Porsches with it. Just now I'm happy if I can shrug off those Corsa's, Saxo's and such that seem to be glued to my back bumper.

ha ha looks like its just me and you mate ...
You take into account, all of the interior parts you get>wheels>suspension set up etc. and really wonder!
the TYPE R's are lower arent they? going from a saxo vts, it seems to be v. v. slugish  very annoying, what kind of cars are we amongst when it comes to BHP / 0-60 etc. ?
my mates 1.2sxi+ corsa c seemed to keep up with it, infact- even overtook me. But could have been the driver lol

My lil bro has a 1.2 Corsa C, and he kept up with my Sport no problem. Wondering if Honda fell short with this one, maybe a little too slow for its category! I was quite down hearted by it.

Simple. The money spent on mods can be partially returned by selling them, you will never see a penny of your insurance premium ever again. I have to pay 4000 pounds for a type r (university student from abroad living without parents), and I am not ready to throw that amount of money down the toilet!

Exactly the same predicament i am in, car is on Finance- every single penny. But looking at Autotrader. For roughly the same car from a dealer, you will expect to pay 11k-which is about what i paid.
I suspect,we will lose soo much.we would lose around 1-2k?
whats everyone elses thoughts?

might even lose more, I might go to honda see what happens cos i aint got a clue! might aswell enjoy a decent car while im young, glag someone is the same as me, paying monthly!!! wish i'd got the type r for the same money, and just put the money for modding to the insurance!! u would never get the CS to perform like a type r with a grand!
