common misconseption that resetting the ecu makes power, (dis-connecting the battery) ive tried it, i am SURE it does not.

Yeah but you've still got the stock air filter right (albeit with slight mods)? People only tend to do this when they've changed their intake/exhaust so the ecu can adapt to the new air/fuel ratio.
I'm pretty sure it isn't necessary though the ecu re-learns itself pretty quickly, after about 50 miles iirc.

How to Reset the ECM/PCM

You can reset the ECM/PCM in either of 2 ways:

1. Use the scan tool or Honda PGM Tester to clear the ECM's/PCM's memory.
See the scan tool or Honda PGM Tester user's manuals for specific instructions.
2. Turn the ignition switch OFF, and remove the No. 6 ECU (ECM/PCM) (15A) fuse (A) from the under-hood fuse/relay box (B) for 10 seconds.

Yes, its the black plastic box on the far left upper corner of the engine (above the battery and the intake hose).
To reset the ECU, take a look at your driver's manual and look under fuses, and it would show you the location of fuse 6, then pull fuse 6 out for a period of time, and put it back in and you car would be resetted.
