are they 16s on your car? if they are, you should defo look at getting some 17s. those 16s sit to far into the car and dont line up with the body very well. i think its the ET measurement on them is too low/high?
i suppose u can get some spacers but, getting 17s would get u a better result.
what springs have u got on the car at the moment?

Alright Shak man? Aye they are 16" Type R Replicas..I have Interalloy Sports Springs..both are listed in the list on page2 like hehe
Whats the ET meAsurement like? Will some spacer at the back help tho? thought they only widen them? Will different sized tyres help? I have 205/50/16 on my Lassa's at th the mo..At the back is lower than the front, the Mugen front skirt gives a slight effect that its the same height..not sure..
Nah I wont be getton anymore alloys man..these will get refurbed soon tho..
I think I've done quite well considerin mines jus a basic SE car unlike most ppl on ere who have Sport's..

mate, you've done brilliantly! dont get me wrong. i would suggest trying to figure out a way to bring the wheel out a bit, as at the back especially, it looks like they're too small for the car. spacers would be good if it doesn't put strain on the axles.

What was your OBX manifold like? I fitted my new one last week, but had to do a ton of work to it first to make it flow better...

Mine made quite a difference to the sound, i'd say it's about 20% louder and it sounds much more sporty. I have a straight thru cat-back system, so maybe that's why it sounds louder?... I don't know how much difference it made on it's own as i had it heat wrapped and had my lightweight flywheel fitted at the same time. The engine feels more powerful in the upper rev range and it accelerates more freely up to 110 mph (not on public roads FYI ). Can't wait to get my sports cat ordered and have the remap done. It will feel a load better! hehe

Yeh thats probably why urs sounds so different as u have a full exhaust system..
maybe get an induction kit so that its sounds different? do u have 1?
so the sports cat will make it legal(pass mot) as appose to de cat?

Hey there, Have to say you have an nice project on your hands- def a good step in going for the white EP! Make a real JDM replica! Really like what you have done to it! Looks awesome! My thoughts would be: 5 stud hub, Brembo kit in red CTR alloys sprayed white Red Recarro sport lines seats Red JDM CTR mats Red carpet from premier edition Turbo.... We should set up a group fund to get you the money!!! Best Dan

Yeah, the heat wrapping helps by keeping it cooler under the bonnet and the gas hotter so it flows faster/better. I have a K&N Typhoon Short Ram on mine, that's also fairly loud on wide open throttle (can't hear it over the exhaust though, lol) The car would run fine with a de-cat (and CEL Fix) but it would never pass an MOT, that's why a sports cat is the best option as far as i'm concerned, it saves swapping it over when you have your MOT.

I've had it ages since nearly the start of this site..I havent done that much 2 it compared 2 others..but not many in White! there must be more of em..like Halfloaf..but he's busy turboin his hehe but I dont think I'll go into that much like..its gettin on a bit Hm..how bout gettin some 5 stud hubs 4 the back as its a li'l lower than the front..so it means I'll have 17's on back n 16's on front..is that possible? or I could jus get some spacer like Shak says..but I dunno where n what kind like..do u's know where I can get some spacer 4 the back? (4stud) *lol* yes I can definately feel more power n gets over 100 quicker hehe will heat wrappin it help?

Remould..that means gettin the manifold off again 2 wrap it? couldnt I jus put a new heatshield(I knacked the original 1 as 1 of the bolts were killed) considerin gettin a custom air feed..removin the resonator but not sure when yet..anyways its still lookin class hehe

Erm, yeah the best way to get 5 stud is to get some off a scrapped EP2. There are loads about now as they are pretty much valueless (well mine is anyway!) The guys in the US do it all the time as even there better models have 4 studs! I wouldn't try spacers personally as I hear horror stories about them! Anyone else tried them?
Best
Dan

yeah if u can dude, replacing for 5 stud hubs would be miles better than getting spacers! absolutely do that, then u can get the 17s and put them on all round. would look nicer than Lisa Snowdon in a thong
