I fitted mine yesterday using that guide, took me about an hour, just be careful clipping the dash bits as to not mark the dash. Good luck!

if i was to remove a standard HU again i would strap a little C4 to it and blow the standard 1 out.  its a much easier option

Luckily i didnt over tighten the bolts when i put it all back together (making it easier for me to get it back out if i want).

Halfords are rip off merchants. I always look at the HU in the shop and then go online and compare spec and prices. They always have a pretty naff selection in my local Halfords s well as the obligatory bass enclosures that seem to end up in almost every Corsa 1.2 SXi these days. Like a garage heater with a speaker within! Cheesy

hi guys its pretty easy to remove the facia etc easiest way i found was unscrew gear knob grip round
the bottom of the leather gaitor and pull up them unplug cigarette lighter and hazard lights switch , two small bolts at the back on a cage 8mm i think only need to b unscrewed a couple o threads and just pull gently from the bottom and then undop all your electric clips and tahts you got it out , on ebay a guy - nglian car audios sells black and silver facias for a 5iver well worth it
