This was discussed thoroughly by myself and Nick and we came up with a few examples, however we are restricted by the fact it has to be www.mysitename.moonfruit.com but to be honest it isnt bad. please let me know what you would like the website URL to be and the club name.

yourself and ray are talking about a new website rather then a revamp of the existing site, thats how its coming across anyway.

I see. Well we mean a total revamp, including a possible name change. A new server would be a good idea so we don`t get any downtime, like which happened last night

i own  www.ephatch.co.uk
i bought it just to sit on it while i work out what type of site im gonna create.

i was going to make it where each member has there own 'garage' where they can post the picture of there cars, and then a place where they can write about what they had done. kind of like little blog section on the same page, and the otherside of the site a forum system like is on here, but have things more organised and lots more sections like the civic type r site has.

Ash.

not being funny but quite a few people have put forward ideas on building an improved front end. Who came to the conclusion that Ray was the man for the job?

As for the moonfruit url, thats a pesh idea. The site already has a url so there is no need to change it.

Since none of the previous ideas materialized, I guess it`s a case of people pushing to get their ideas rolling
I loved your idea Gav, but unfortunatley it`s up to Halfloaf to sort it
This is where the idea of a totally new website comes in, as I think it`s the only way we are gonna see any changes TBH

none of them materialised because the final choice is left up to halfloaf. It seems to me, and by reading the posts, that this whole new site idea seems to be getting forced through by a small number of overzealous users.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to see some previous work by the person who your giving control too? So far the one link that has been posted doesn't work. I dont know about anyone else but that doesn't fill me with confidence
