anyone know the tyre pressure for penta wheels with the usual tyres (P6000/ Dunlops/ Bridgestones)?

not sure really my honda 17" 215x45 are at 40psi as recomended by Honda.

but in the car it says whats recommended for the 16" wheels, so the 17" wheels would be different, thats why i'm not going by that.

40psi seems a bit excessive. are you sure thats right?

Well to be honest Yes and No, I was the first at my locla Honda dealer to go for the upgrade and as you know they are not listed in your manual, so when I asked they just blurted out 40psi.

Had the car now 3yrs and theyv'e always been at that but its always been at the back of my mind.

i'll try 32 psi. but if they're already over that, i'l try 40. rides feelin a big luggish lately mainly cos of tyres and fat mate  Tongue

I'm running front tires at 38psi and rear at 35 psi.

i've been setting mine to 36 all round and they feel fine, was originally settin them at 34 but decided to put alittle extra in them

There is a Honda sticker on the inside of my drivers door jam and it says the correct pressure for 215/45/17 is 

36psi Front 
33psi Rear

this is for a normal loaded car.

not enough difference in size to make any difference to the tyre pressure

40psi is way too much for the tyres. Having them that high will cause them to wear in the centres.
