I know we have a few Hong Kong lads on here, just want to ask a quick question...... Is electronic stuff cheap over there?? Just my boss is going next month, and he has said he'll bring me something back......I have to pay though. I asked him how much a PSP would be, and he said around $310 US Dollars.....now this isnt that cheap!! Just wondering if things are cheap over there or if its a myth? Cheers lads

I think I paid about 2000 hong kong dollars for a white v1.5 PSP (can play 'special' games  ) and a game. If you do get one make sure it's version 1.5 and I'd get a 2GB memory stick while you're at it, the stick's are about £30 cheaper than they are here.
Pretty much everything electronic is cheaper except for the ipod Nano which sells for the same price because it's really popular right now.
TV series/film boxsets are real cheap as well so I'd consider getting some of those.
Why did he give you a price in US dollars? :?

Not really an electronic guy, but i would assume anything from Hong Kong should be cheaper than the UK, that's something I have learnt from the year I had lived here

The reason why hk is cheaper than uk is cuz the shippin fee not expensive and dont need to pay VAT and Tax!! So UK is expensive on anything u buy compare to Asia!! But i know 1 thing tht china is very bargin!! but dodgy!!!

Oh right, cheers. My boss is meeting someone out there, so she should know where to shop really as she lives in the city.
