Hi, I have checked this forum and can't find the answer to my question. When should the timing belt be changed on this engine? I lost my service book unfortunately.

Had my belt changed @ 72k ... turned out the old one had no signs of wear whatsoever but its for piece of mind more than anything else.

You run the risk of doing serious engine damage! That is if the belt snaps thats why people change it at a certain time so as to prevent the worse from happening.
