As I was sorting through my pm's, the site allows you to preview your messages... and where I had recieved a pm from the member "Lukey" something in his sig, caused my Anti-Hacker to alert me that it was a 'phishing' device used to take credit-card details etc.

This may have been a safety precaution, but my software has been great in protecting me in potential trojans and such in the past. And this member may not be aware, but someone of you may have been infected by a potential phishing device.

I suggest using Ad-aware, CCleaner, Kaspersky Antivirus + Internet Security (this one brought up the warning) to clean your system asap, just incase.

Thanks for the heads up!

Was this a recent PM?

One of the main reasons for moving to SMF from PHPBB is that PHPBB has lost a lot of forums to virus attacks.

Hopefully we will be safer now.
