does anyone know where i can get a carbon fibre surround to replace my silver 1. ive heared you can get a sticker to cover it but i cant find 1 anywhere. . . . . . if you have any ideas or know of anywhere could you send me some links plz

u can get the proper carbon centre console bit off Honda, costs a bit though.
or if you want the vinyl stuff ur best bet is ebay mate.

the carbon centre from honda isnt real carbon. its a fake lookalike. seen them in the flesh and they definately aint real carbon.
you can get vinyl to cover it yourself if you want to that seems to be the only way. im in the process of sourcing a cheap centre dash but its proving hard indeed.

I have the genuine honda carbon dash kit fitted but i recall being told that im getting one of the last in the country so, at the time it was fairly cheap ~£35. But now your local dealership would have to get them from Japan and so you're looking at £100+ from what i heard a little while ago. And as Barnesey said, its' carbon effect:  |

i think our cars suit black consoles like, seen an ep2 with a black one automatic section let it down with it being silver.
im thinking of getting real carbon dash made up by someone but its just the cost and the fact i dont have the money yet.
they do look good, better if real carbon tho.

u gotta cut yourself mate. just buy it on ebay for about a fiver. then just pull ur centre console out and stick the sheet to it and cut out the holes and bits u need.

Yes - i believe this is it: Part No: 08Z03-S5S-500A Description: Interior Panel HO List: £88.10 (remember thats +VAT) But, to the best of my knowledge its no longer available from Honda UK and D2M were not able to source it from Honda Japan. |

i work for honda leeds in the parts department, as far as i no 08Z03-S5S-500A is an old part number for Automatics. The only part number still available to purchase from honda UK is this
08Z03-S5S-600A INTERIOR KIT BLACK CARBON AUTO A/C, they discontinued the manual transmission panel ages ago, theres only the automatic version available. not too sure if they are the sam

doh, i really really want 1. if any1 else knows where 2 get them e let us no. just checked out the link above, for the carbon cntre console ya looking at the £250 mark inc shipping. i'm not prepared to pay that of money. |
