Basically all i have done is taken of the resenator box  and the original panel filter and put a pipercross filter in the existing hole.
It feels quicker and sounds nice but is it any better than the original and can i do anything to make it better :?:

cheers :!:

This will suffer from heat soak wont it?? Could you not perhaps get some flexible piping and channel some cold air from behind the grill, front light etc etc? Good going though mate Smiley

Heat soak is your main issue, especially if you have been waiting at the lights.

Take a look at this, i would guess that you will find the coldest air just behind the bumper. Bad thing is that you need a lot of tubing.

In front of the car, BUT the system must be a good isolator not to let heat in.

You have to be careful not to get water in the air filter or your car dies!

In my opinion bet air filter are these: http://www.bmcairfilters.com/infoCDA.asp

but are not street legail in EU in don't not about UK.

This dyno is to good to be true, so don't take it to serious, you usually lose some power in low and mid RPM.

To me that filter looks good.

Having that airbox between the filter and Throttle Body will slow the airflow down though. A box that big is bound to resonate at very low RPM giving a good pick away at say 1000 - 2000 RPM. It may cause losses at top end though (5000-6000rpm).

Is it possible to mount that filter on the other end of the resonator? If so I would try it.

Remember the resonator may make the car feel less peaky but that doesnt mean it is slower. Our cars feel flat as standard but that is because we have a wide torque curve not low power.

BTW: I have no idea at all how to read that Dyno. BHP and lb/ft is what I am used to, they cross at 5252RPM, those lines(Power and Torque) cross at something like 6750RPM.

This is for the type R civic.
"dotted" line with original parts.

But as I said this is a bit too much, the have to sell this things so ....

DIPLOMACY Obama calls on China's Hu to work together on Iran nuclear standoff IRAN Timeline of Iran's nuclear crisis Date created : 08/04/2010  Print Comment Send this page
AFP - The United States said it was pushing for a deal on new UN sanctions against Iran "within weeks" as six major powers met Thursday for some hard bargaining on a Security Council resolution.

"It's a very important negotiation, burberry soldes," Chinese ambassador Li Baodong told reporters as he went into the talks, reflecting a new willingness by Beijing to join the negotiations.

The envoys of Britain, China, France, lunettes rayban, Russia and the United States and Germany were meeting behind closed doors to discuss a US draft resolution that would slap sanctions on Iran's powerful Revolutionary Guards believed to be involved in nuclear proliferation activities.

Speaking shortly before the meeting, US ambassador to the UN, Susan Rice, told reporters at UN headquarters: "I am not prepared to predict when they (the talks) will conclude or not."

"We are working to get this done swiftly, within a matter of weeks in the spring," she added.

In Prague, US and Russian presidents Barack Obama and Dmitry Medvedev warned Iran of possible sanctions shortly after signing a landmark disarmament deal.

The two leaders said Iran could expect sanctions if it maintains its refusal to halt uranium enrichment and cooperate with UN atomic watchdog inspectors amid Western suspicions that it is seeking a bomb.

Obama called for "smart" and "strong" sanctions by the United Nations, air jordan shoes, which in May will hold a review conference on the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.

And Medvedev told a joint press conference that "we cannot close our eyes" to Tehran "not reacting to an array of constructive compromise proposals."

"The Chinese are an active party to the (sanctions) negotiations in New York, ray ban," US deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes said from Prague. "There is a multilateral negotiation taking place about the package of sanctions that we aim to pass this spring."

China, which for weeks had resisted discussing in earnest the specific proposals agreed by the United States and its key European western allies, louboutin, finally relented and agreed to join the discussions.

"China will participate in the relevant discussions," Chinese foreign ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu said in Beijing Thursday.

However he added that Beijing, jordan shoes, which has close energy ties with Tehran and last week played host to the Islamic republic's chief nuclear negotiator, "still believes dialogue and consultation are the best way to solve the nuclear issue."

The United States and its Western allies believe Tehran is using uranium enrichment as a cover to build nuclear weapons, burberry, a claim the Iranians deny.

In Prague,Lunettes De Soleil, Michael McFaul, a special assistant to Obama, louboutin pas cher, said the process for new UN sanctions against Iran "took a step forward today."

"We discussed the categories of a new resolution. We are into the heart of discussing what should be in the resolution, burberry soldes," he added. "We had specific discussions where we talked about what should be in the resolution and what should not."

The 15-member Security Council, including China, has already imposed three sets of sanctions on Iran over its refusal to halt uranium enrichment.
