not saying i want to do this jus somebody asked have i seen this done to our cars yet an truthfully i havent yet lol

as said previously, yes they are LED's as standard. because they're classed as side repeaters, it would be an MOT failure and another excuse for the bobby's to pull yo over if you changed them to a different colour. I'd be guessing anyway that it will be a circuit with soldered-on LED's since they're designed to last longer than the car...in other words, i don't think you'd be able to change them. unless you rip the whole lot out, but it sounds like a hell of a lot of work for what it is.

i think they look cool anyway Wink its usually mercs etc that come with these sort of mirrors (more recently some VW's and toyota's etc) but the honda ones are by far the brightest!

i think u can change them cos i remember flicking through the halfords bulb guide and it said in there that u could buy them and replace. didn't really look at the bulb though.

the wing mirror indicators on the golf are retarded. because its at the bottom, u can still see it from inside the car and i just found it distracting. but then again i just hate golfs in general as they are hugely over rated!

you can change them but any colour other tahn  amber or white emitting/ visible from the front of the vehicle can result in some heavy fines and points
