it has the facelift kit on, is this kit the exact same kit fitted onto a type r. I have had an accident an knacked all the boot an rear bumpers on my civic an need to go to a scrap yard an try an get a whole new boot, will a type r boot fit ours flush or will it need modification, need to be 100% sure these tpe r parts are going to fit my civic ep2, i need the rear valance, the rear bumper and the major part is the boot, thanks

its definately the same kit fitted to the type-r. however i'm unsure about the boot lid, because of the issue with the type-r spoiler not fitting the sport properly without modification  Huh

the whole boot will fit mate, and in the future you don't have to modify your spoilers anymore Wink

The boot lid is exactly the same and it will fit our EP2 sport... Referring to the spoiler issue, the reason why we have to modify the CTR spoiler to fit our EP2 sport is because the rear windscreen/window on a CTR is different to the one on our EP2 sport... But the boot lid is defo the same and no modifications needed to make it fit...

But if u want to fit the normal sport spoiler, then the CTR boot lid won't be any use, refering to above (window is different)

Hope this helps

so if i can get a type r bott lid it will fit flush and wont need any modification jus siomply unscrew the old boot an screw me type r one on. Does the window difference not affect the fitment onto our cars though?

When i say the window is different, it doesnt effect the way it fits... if you unbolt yours, a CTR bootlid will just bolt straight on...
Have you seen a CTR spoiler when it's taken off? They are two bolting joints located down the side that screw into the window, and this is where the CTR window is different because the glass is made for the two joints to fit in flush...

Thats why when people say the spoiler needs to be modified to fit out EP2, what they mean is you have to cut the two bolting joints off inorder to make it fit properly, does that make any sense? If i have time, i will take my CTR spoiler of and show you where i have modified it! But the weather needs to brighten up lol
