how to cut out moulded grill on pre facelift ep2

and see that you can cut out the plastic moulded grill
and replace it with an pre facelift type r grill

i think nobbys dun it but he dont go into much detail on how its dun

can anyone explain how its dun

and if anybodys selling a pre facelift type r grill
let me kno

Are you talking about removing the H emblem alltogether or just replacing it with the red Type-R one. If you want to remove it, then you need to have to grilles and cut & shape them together so they are flush.

remove bumper in the inside of bumper you will see lines where the moulded grill is these are the lines you need to follow to cut it out i used a stanley snap off blade (18mm) as it cut through the plastic easily asit is quite soft take your time the type r grill wil over lap the cut and doesn't have to be perfect. then line up type r grill and drill the 4 top 10mm holes for the pop in clips and there are two clip on bracket at the bottom that need a small hole drilled for self taper and that basically it
