Hello everyone,

I'm Roger from Wolverhampton in the W.  Midlands

I brought my 05 Civic Sport in vivid blue for £7,295 back in May 08 (only just found out about this site)

I used to own a 98 scoobydoo Impreza sport 2. 0lt that I had for 7 yrs prior to getting the Civic sport.

The first thing I did was to get front fog lights fitted, then I did a few engine tuning mods:-

Scorpion evo back box
Toyosports manifold
Pipercross panel filter
NGK Iridium spark plugs

This gave me 118 bhp and 120 lb ft torque

Then recently I got a Pipercross viper cold air feed ind kit

And got 128 bhp and 126 lb ft torque (both confirmed by RR dyno) quite impressive for a 1. 6 normally asp engine! and I still get around 35 mpg around town and 40+ on the motorway

Handling is good too although you do have to go slow over speed humps as the ride is a bit firm

Don't intend to mess with a de-cat or ECU but might get a middle section exhaust later.

Quite happy at the styling and std alloys so no body mods planned, they don't do a Type R in blue which I think is a good thing as there is no mistaking it for one.
I think people who make their's look like one run the risk of ins claim problems if they have a knock, increased risk of having it stolen and been left with egg on their faces if a GTI, VXR, ST etc think it's a Type R and tries racing you from the lights etc.
