Can anyone vouch for Strup products?

Some of you will remember that i'm currently waiting on a DC 4-1 header but DC are taking ages.... well, D2M have kindly offered an alternative:

Strup : H21102 01-05 Civic EX 4-1 Header



I've tried doing as much google searching as possible but the manufacturer barely gets a mention on uk sites and so, was hoping someone had heard of Strup before and therefore could help me decide whether to continue waiting for DC or go for the Strup version.

D2M say the Strup version is pretty much identical to DC's and its the same price through them too.

Just incase anyone else is interested; I contacted Strup directly re. the grade of stainless used and their ceramic coating options... this is what they had to say:

Hello Jay,

Thanks for your interest in Strup Products.

All of our Strup Ceramic Coated Headers are 100% T-304 Stainless Steel. They are of the same quality as our polished Stainless Steel Headers.

You are correct; all other headers out there are just mild carbon steel with a ceramic coat on them. If you want ceramic coated, our header is the only way to go.

You cannot go wrong with buying a Strup Header. Great performance and quality.

I think i'm about to take the plunge and go for the ceramic coated Strup over DC's offering.... unless anyone can talk me out of it?

Got an email yesterday saying that my Strup header has been delivered to the guys who are fitting it for me  ... just got to book the car in so, should be able to comment further in a couple of weeks.
