Hello all, my name's steve, i've only been a member of this forum for a few days but i've seen a few familiar names on here.  .  .

Anyway, i wan't to fit or make a Cold Air Feed to try and get some cool air to my K&N Typhoon Short Ram system.
Has anyone on here fitted one themselves or got any pic's or pointers to help me?
All comments highly welcome!  Wink

Yes, it makes difference. Much better than short ram only.

Not quite what i had in mind. . .  I'm after a feed from the grille or foglight hole to force a bit or cold air into the engine compartment.

Hi!

I did it the same way as notabene and anyways, it works! First i tried to get the air from the grill, but there`s not enough space and further i got better results from the original intake position.

Yeah, it`s a German Company and i bought it there.    I`m from Austria, so its no Problem to send it, but i`m sure they will also deliver GB! *g*

First i did it this way, which was not the best, because the suction tube (hope thats the right word) was too long and the response characteristic was really bad.

Then i did it this way, which worked really well.

Sorry for the dirty engine bay, it was raining all day long!

PS.   : Would be nice if a mod could fix the thing with the pictures.     Grin

Form follows function.    Grin

The important thing is that it worked but the embarrassing thing is that the engine bay is really really dirty.  But fear not, i`ve cleaned it in the meantime!  Wink

Thx for fixing the pictures m8!
