I have decided to try and make my own cold air feed.
I'm going to design and build a intake duct out of 3mm Black PVC sheet. It's a thermoplastic so i can cut the pieces, heat them up and bend/fold them to the desired shape before glueing/welding them together. The feed will take air from the top of the grill (passengers side) and blow it (via a length of ducting) to the air filter on my K&N Typhoon S/R intake.
I'll try and get a mock-up made next week out of card before i build it out of plastic.

Wish me luck!  Wink

hey man.

I wouldn't make it out of thermoplastic. When you're engine heats up the plastic will melt. Try using a thermosetting plastice or fibreglass something. Honestly thermoplastic will melt as your engine bay get's wery hot when the ingine's running. Hope this helps. Smiley
