found a throttle body (spoon one available) will it give any improvement ppz

What size is it? The standard EP2 throttle body is 56mm IIRC. You will need to make sure that the throttle body will suit the D Series engine and that the mounting points are the same if you wish to use it with your standard manifold. Does the TPS mount onto it ok?
You will need to remove the intake manifold to port match it with the new throttle body.

I'm not sure what gains you'll get exactly, but it should be noticeable as it will allow you to flow more air on WOT than standard.
