just wondering if anyone else suffers from loss of signal when recieving local stations as its driving me up the wall. my works van recieves all stations in the area with ease when i'm in the works car park (clyde 1, forth 1, real, kingdom fm, central fm etc) whereas my car hardly picks them up, just fuzzyness  Angry radio 1 and the larger broadcast stations are fine most of the time but i get the feeling something is wrong.

i've heard rumours that its because the aftermarket head units do not supply power to the ISO wire that sends power to the antenna booster. anyone with this problem, and know how to solve it  Huh

Just a suggestion: check if your antenna is secure and working.  I checked mine the other day and found out that it's f*cked.  The antenna ate the roof plugs' threads and I had to hot-glue the antenna in place.  It doesn't work anymore, but since I don't listen to the radio, it's fine. .  :D
