Coilovers

I want to lower my car i was thinking of getting coilovers as its cheaper than buying the whole lot, but was wondering how would it affect the standard dampers?

might be misunderstanding the question but coilovers are combined springs and dampners so the standards would be taken off?

oops my bad i mean jus spring replacement. How much will it cost for springs and fitting? looking for eibach since they seem to be the faves.

ahh ok, if you are only lowering 30mm it shouldnt effect the dampners nearly at all, wont incur any eccessive wear any way.

as for cost of fitting, i dunno about 70-100 being a rough estimate but it all depends where you take it and who does it.

I've purchased FK -40mm springs, £160 fitted.

Fixed Shocks aswell, but not sure on price just yet

Looking at Eibach springs and the price was £180 approx! anyone know where i can find Eibach Pro for lower?

Motorsport world iirc, failing that do a search for eibach on this site(its next to FAQ) and you could find all the eibach pro info you need that i posted. This includes the contact number and part number. The price was around £160.................. :wink:

these guys are realy good highly reccomend them.....all my mods have come from them.

you can e-mail them or simply call them.....they will do a good job of sorting you out.

they dont keep them in stock, but they get them direct from Eibach to you. so they are pretty good.
