To fit the 1.4, 1.6, 1.7 models.
Real quiet until 5000rpm then all hell breaks loose.
Better throttle response, better mid-range as well.
Perfect condition.

Yeah I got the BMC off a mate real cheap so I thought I'd give it a try since people rave on about them so much .
Thing is I didn't have any elbow hose to fit it with so I used the parts from the Simota.
With the Simota going I can't be arsed to spend more money fitting the BMC so it all has to go my man.

Interested in a p/x with anything?

Can you come any lower than £93 delivered? Wink

Also, you had this fitted? What would you say in terms of how good it was compared with the CAI? which was better?

Hard to say which is better, the CAI felt better at high rpms while this felt stronger mid-range, depends on how you drive I guess. This one is definitely louder though Cheesy.
Ha, I laugh at every ind. kit I see that's open in the engine bay now because I drove a few days without the box on and one time I was driving around a indoor carpark it felt like I had 50bhp Cheesy. The difference it makes is unreal.

Sorry I don't think I can budge on the price because the kit is £130 del. brand new (this one's only about a month old, damn my impulse buying!).
And also because I'm a stubborn bastard.

DPMotorsport mate. Their web price is £99 but that doesn't include VAT and delivery .
For the BMC you'd need a breather filter and a 90 deg. hose that's about 70mm (for the BMC) and 63mm (throttle diameter).
You'll probably need to trim it as well and you'll need to put a hole in it for the air sensor.

OK mate fair enough.
Dunno what's next really, going back to stock is quite boring but I've noticed I'm not gunning it everywhere now!

No plans for another kit for a while though.

If you'd be willing to do a sale for an item + cash, i'll have it Wink If we can come to an agreement. Otherwise, you'll have to come down a little on price (jsut a little Wink)
