reverse gear

Hi,
Anybody else had any problems with reverse gear slipping out when trying to engage it?
Quite often I think I have selected reverse only to bring the clutch out and find it has slipped out, it doesn't seem to engage again if I just dip the clutch, I have to take my foot right off the clutch and try again for it to work.
Don't know if it is just me or what.

I've found that the stick sometimes won't go all the way. But you know what they say: try, try... try again.

I don't know if it's a problem. I had my old Sierra do that to me also so I don't really think of it as a fault.

i think its a safety feature that it doesn't go into reverse easily, i suppose it has to be or you may select it by mistake when driving forwards

It happens a lot on the ep's... But when you can't get it in reverse right away, just put it in gear and back in reverse and it should slide right in
DON'T try pulling it in reverse with brute power

Yeh had same problem, wont always find reverse first time, but if you put it back into neutral, lift your foot of the clutch, and start again, normally solves the issue.
