Std Bridgestone tyres

Hi,
My car came with Bridgestone tyres as standard, I will need to replace the front tyres soon, do you think I should get some more Bridgestones or switch to some better rubber, if so what tyres do people reccommend? I'm after an allround tyre (no pun intended lol) that provides good wet/dry handling and is not too soft so it doesn't wear down to quickly.
