just through browsing various websites ive noticed that when it comes to springs and coilovers the EP1 and 2 is listed along with the EU and ES

and i have come across some tein basic dampners for the EU/ES models and i just wondered what are the chances that it will fit on the EP?

got a link which has some notes at the bottom which i dont understand quite but it might indicate they might?

That is the best price in so far in UK.
I'm really not 100% on the fitment though.

ok the guy got back to me and this is how it went:

Hi Carl

the kit is provided with additional parts which Tein think will enable
it to fit EP2. However there is no guarantee. If you are reasonably
confident it will work then please order online and we will supply. You
are welcome to inspect the goods but if you feel it won't work and want
to return there will be a 25 percent restocking fee. Naturally if the
goods are marked through installation we could not in this case return
the goods to Tein.
Therefore if other coilovers work on the EP2 then chances are this kit
will too.I hope you will take the chance, it is a very good quality kit
with well designed spring rates. We look forward to hopefully processing
your order, if you buy online and the kit works I will credit you with 5
percent of the purchase price as a reward for helping our RandD into
this model - this is my gesture not Teins.

It is in stock so if you order today it will ship tomorrow for arrival Weds.

Kind regards

Julian

Sound promising tbh doesnt it!! He doesnt seem to be bullshitting you or anything.

Thing is 25% is quite a lot isnt it if they dont fit! Suppose you could try eBay if they dont.

iv'e emailed tein to see if we can find out for deffinite and do some r&d
also i would just like to see who would be interested in the kit if it does?

its the tein basic coilover kit costing £517 (£52.. something with VAT)
its ajustable height and is top qaulity.

its just if we get a few people behined us we may push them further to find out or test it on our cars? Cheesy

In my country and also in germany, austria, italy ,.... you need a certificat (TUV, ABE, ...) to get aftermarket part on the car to make it road legal

A was already asking TEIN if the will get this certificat (it is very price to get them) and they said: yes, yes!! but this was bull-s***t .

They just want to make a sale and nothing else. a lot of US companys think this way !!

Go for H&R kit or a Eibch kit, K&W kit var.2 is also good.
But as alway the is a bad side to it: the price (round 1000 EUR).
