tein is a japanese company?!

and their qaulity can be match or beeter than he ones mentioned but it all comes to preference

Sorry, I didn't say that Tein is not a Japanese company, and I didn't say that they have a bad product. They have a excelent product no words lost there.

I just said that their sales people sucks big time, I talk to US sales. not Japanese sales ( Sorry, I didn't mean the company but the sales !! )
I also talk to UK sales and got the answer a got from US guys.

They know full well where their products fits, and you alway get a e-mail like yours 25% restocking fee because you opened the box give me a break !!!!
By EU law and GB law you can return the product withing 8 days with a full refund.

sorry mate, i agree the u.s service sucks thats why i got in touch with the japenese people.

it looks like the kit SHOULD fit but there are no garantees, thats teins answer as it does not have a high enough demand to warrant any research and deveolpment. so its a risk if you want to take it.

They could lower the price if you send them pictures so they can see if the thing fit or not. Or something like that, so they don't have to do research.

But it might be a problem because the EM2 EU and ES are heavier, and the weight distribution is different.

Hi Guys
we're getting a few hits from this thread so we thought lets help out. JDMEp2
contacted us about this originally and I wrote  the reply. Essentially I think the kit would fit and if anyone ordered it for the EU model then they would be quite within there rights to open the packaging and return for a full refund within 7 days. Under distance selling regs companies have the option to charge a handling fee if this is made clear at time of purchase, only on correctly supplied goods however. In this instance we are potentially selling knowing that the application is not listed as being officially supported. Therefore Tein would charge us 25% and we would pass it on. However I appreciate that this would put people off. So if any of you are confident that the kit will fit then if you buy from us you may return for a full refund without handling charge. Please remember though that you cannot attempt to fit the kit. You are only allowed to open the outer packaging and inspect the goods, otherwise again companies have right to to charge a restocking fee.
I hope this helps! We're not in this business to mess people about - if we can help work out a good suspension kit for EP2 owners then this will surely benefit all.  Any questions please email info@balancemotorsport.co.uk

I would go for Tein, instead of KW H&R or Eibach, but they all have TUV (ABE or EC). Our stupid law maker are copying German laws, so I need this papers to make my car street legal.
But I am still worried about spring rate because as I said EU ES and EM are about 150 - 200 lbs heavier

wouldn't worry to much about the rates as it will just mean in EP2 a very slight rise in suspension frequency. This won't harm handling, perhaps marginally worse ride but the difference will probably be imperceptible.
