Civic engine goes out [check engine signal]

Hi,

Looking for help. . .  I have civic EP2 and my engine goes out.  The check engin indicator lighted.  I went to Honda dealer asking for help.
He replaced crankshaft sensor (in his opinion this is what the computer showed). 

Later on after few miles i got the same results - light up of check engine lamp and civic dies but after few tests in started again but with the check engine lamp lighted and the rpm was about 2K.  What is can be? Can you help please?

Hmm never heard of this happening to a civic before. I had a friend who owned a clio which had a similar problem. It was his engine loom that was the problem.
Can't believe Honda themselves can't diagnose it properly though.

mine use to light up when I previously had a pre-facelift backbox and going quite fast..but since I got Honda to change for a facelift backbox it doesnt seem to light even tho I'm going fast..
