since i had my front brake pads changed, my brake now make a high pitched noise, but only of its  on loose surface like wet roads, gravel. this only happens if i brake quite hard aswell. its not a noise like metal against metal tho, its tough to say what it sounds like really, even after i stop braking once the noise has started it carrys on, and is the same pitch all the time and never changes.
does anyone have any ideas?

Hmm I think I know what you mean but it is hard to say what it could be really. It could be your caliper isn't drawing all the way back which in effect means your pad is still in contact with your brake disc causing a squeal. Could just be dirt.
Best get it checked out im sure a garage wouldnt charge you just to have alook at it.

thanks for the reply, not sure if it is what you say it may be though, as the noise it makes is exactly the same each time, and theres no change in it, but think i will get kwik fit to look as the dont charge to check the brakes, well at least i dont think they do. when it snowing it used to make the noise more often due to the lack of grip, so not to sure if this is something to with abs,? will ket you know when i get it checked out, just incase anyone else suffers from this.

Looks like you need to copper grease the back of the brake pads that attach onto the calipres ?
