Alright guys,

I bought a type r bodykit for my 1.4 02 reg civic and was wondering where the best place to buy the clips for the kit from so that I can attach it to the car.

cheers.

They wont be the cheapest place, but Honda will deffo give you the correct ones, as aftermarket ones may not be as good quality.

In a sense, I cant really see an aftermarket specifically making clips....as it would have large profits I wouldnt have said

Best bet is to give them a call, and talk to the mechanic boys. I know the Honda garage which I deal with at Scarborough are very helpful! But expect to spend a lot on the clips and fittings mate!

when i had my kit fitted, they used a bonding agent to hold the skirts on and then screwed in the skirts and lip on the corners. Even if you clip it on(skirts) the top may still be loose or free so it needs sticking on some way or other. Hope this helps and good luck, the type r kit makes it so much more attractive.

When my skirts were fitted, they bonded then, drilled in to the body work, cliped them underneath, and then screwed them at each end! lol...dont think their gonna fall off

i looked at this, about 60 quid for a set of typeR skirt clips, fecking rip off, so i made my own top clips out of a broad headed bolt, a square of plastic off an old sierra bumper, a dollop of tiger seal, a set of mole grips and 18 hours. but you wont get those buggers off in a rush
