Just bought one off ebay! nice weight etc etc. . ! BUTT wtf why doesnt the nut that is supplied with it fit?? like it screws down ABIT but it still sits at the top makin no room for the gear knob to go on? and without the lock nut the gear knob is not alligned and crooked. . .

Anyone else had this problem or no how to resolve it? emailed the seller but not replied ¬_¬"

Jesus don't slate the forum.  As a matter of fact yes I have a skunk2 gear knob no problems fitting it. . .  Why? Because I used a 14mm ratchet socket like it says to use.  The thread is a little tight but I just used some wd40.  Adjust the nut until it's at the bottom of the thread.  Screw on the gear knob get aligned right and then tighten nut with a 14mm spanner and hold the knob in other hand keeping it straight.  Easy. . .  works nicely with a short shifter like mine has :) nice weight.
