i want to lower my 54 plate civic sport, only about 30mm so i can get either 18s or 19s on the car. i quite like the sound of the adjustable suspension kits (not coilovers) what would be the best set up? where can i get the parts/ fitted?

Many many threads on lowering, just search! Your best bet is something like eibach pro -30mm, and any respectable garage can sort fitting them for you.

You need to search for ep2 parts, something like 2001+ 110hp ep2, thats the usual tell tale sign its for the ep2. i ordered mine from motorsport world or something.

Here you go got this off google

A little history here, the ep2 came out in very late 2001 and was facelifted in 2004. 2001-2004 is usually refered to as the pre. In 2004 they changed a few bits here and there but its the same engine etc etc as the pre.

In answer to your question, yes its an ep2 the ep2 is all the 1.6 sohc engines with a d16v1 engine. Remember the sport is only a trim level its no quicker or slower than an s or se it just has sport seats etc etc.

The ep3 is the type r(which we all know about) and unfortunatly all aftermarket stuff for this is wrong for the ep2 so wont fit, unless modified to fit. Oh an there is an ep1 some ep1 owners on here, thats fitted with a 1.4 engine and most stuff for the ep2 fits this.

if i was you, i wouldnt stick 18's on. The bigger the wheels, the slower the car will get.
