Do you think it would be worth going for Eibach? As they've been tried and tested, and we know they work very well.

If I were to lower my Civic 30-35mm on Eibach springs, would there be much more of an improvement to the handling??

Thanks

Very much so, there will be less body roll so you can corner flatter and it'll be  more stable under braking too.

Although I've always wondered: the CTR needs camber adjusters when lowered otherwise the tyres get worn quicker, is this a issue on the EP2's?

this isn't quite true.....most cars when being lowered by the varing ammounts that are available need camber adjustments to make the wheels have less of a Negative Camber.

this will not mean that the tyres nessicarily wear quicker as such but they will wear more irregularly.....i.e with a negative camber the inside of the tyre tread will wear  quicker than the outside.

My EP2 is lowered on the Eibach pro kit so....the 30mm discussed.

I had it fitted and aligned all in one go.

One point to note is that the Camber on the front of our cars are adjustable. But on the Back ...there is no camber adjustment available.

So currently as my car is lowered I have the front aligned and adjusted......and on the back I have settled for a slight negative camber.

also note that a negative camber will give you better cornering stability.

so it's up to u .....align the fronts and get a camber kit for the back

or

just be happy with a slight negative camber on the back as it will not realy be much of a prob.

On my polo I had quite a bad negetive camber, and the ride was
SHOCKINGLY hard.... Is this the case with the Civic?

Also, best place to find the Eibachs-?  About £100.00 sound right for install?

as mentioned I have the Eibachs but Im on 205/50/16 wheels so im prob not going to have the same ride as on 17's or 18's.

all I will say is the Eibachs are progressively wound springs and are designed for exactly the sort of application that you and most of us look for. Comfort with enhanced handling ability with a decent ride height.

I can actually say that my ride got smoother and possibly even more pleasent than the standard springs.

You may experience a slightly harder ride but that will be more down to the size of wheels you choose and tyre profile as a result of that as opposed to anything as a result of the eibachs.

best place to buy them......

http://www.roadrunnermotorsport.co.uk/index.asp

you will have to phone them as they dont have them online but they do sell them. they are very good....i got mine next day.

£145 for the Pro Kit springs
£10 next day delivery ( thats deliver direct from eibach to them and them to you )

i'd deff sugest u get the fronts aligned properly without a camber as they are the wheels which deliver the power and get worn alot quicker than the back so you'd get a more predictable wear on them so more use of all of the tread for traction.

i've left the rears and all is fine. not any harder.

One thing I will say is.....even on a 30mm drop I bashed the underside of my car on a speed bump today  so be careful! lol but if you go for 18's you should be ok as it will sit a bit higher from the ground.

£100 sounds about right for the fitting.....but alignment might be bit more. hope this helps.

To think I did all that, supra shoes,
And may I say, not in a shy way -
Oh no. Oh no,franklin marshall, not me.

And now, the end is near,
And so I face the final curtain.
 My friends, I'll say it clear;
I'll state my case of which I'm certain.

I've travelled each and every highway.
And more, louboutin pas cher, much more than this, doudoune moncler,

Yes,louboutin, it was my way.
I've loved, I've laughed and cried,supra,
I've had my fill - my share of losing.
But now, chaussure supra, as tears subside,
I find it all so amusing.

Yes,louboutin pas cher, there were times, I'm sure you knew,

I faced it all and I stood tall
 And did it my way.
Regrets? I've had a few,
But then again, moncler, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.
