its factory polishing marks, cant do much bout em,  you could try tcuting the whole car but it would take 10s of hours and youd still see em

The swirls in the paint dont come like that from the factory.

When you wash your car the crap gets caught on the sponge and causes tiny surface scratches which look really bad in the sun.

Two things you can do, get down to halfords and get a deep pile wash mit which absorbs the dirt and stops you from rubbing it in and get some meguiars tech stage two polish and a bottle of tech wax.

Im about to get CS05's car ready for the show tomorrow night but im gona use my stage one paint polish aswell.

Its hard work but the result is mental.

Quick update.

In the gaps between the bloody rain i gave CS05's civ a good going over yesterday.

I only managed the bonnet bnoth front wings, drivers door and mirror.

I made him go out and get me some batteries so we can take a pic of the swirls b4 and after cleaning.

Sods law tho the bloody sun pissed off so  we couldnt take the pic.

The difference between is amasing tho, all i did was use mageuirs pure polish and a coat of tech waxs after that, it really did remove a shit load of the swirl and makes the paint look so rich and deep.

hes coming over later for me to finish it off thew bastard.

you need a pc polisher from autopia and some megs #83#80

If your prepared to spend £150 to £200 a pro can do it for you - thats about the same as it would cost to buy the bits.

These are some pics to show the difference it can make

Not really, its just good maintenance of the car when washing.  Use wash mitts, and a good cloth like Waffle Weave Towel.  And dont use a car wash to wash the car.

the sponge is the reason swirl marks occur, get a lambswool wash mitt, meguiars do a good one, and use two buckets, one with car soap and one with just water to rinse the mucky mitt after every pass.

wash the car one time with this method and look at the state of the rinse water and soap water afterwards, you wont wash your car any other way again. The soap water will still be clean and the rinse bucket will have taken the muck and grit every time you rinsed the mitt out.
This muck and grit is the shit that makes swirls and scratches on your paint.

Once your car has been de-swirled its quite simple to keep the paint nice, a simple fortnightly or even monthly routine can keep a very high standard look to your car.

This is the method i use to wash my car every fortnight or so, using this method i have found it uneccesary to wash my car more frequently while still having my car looking tip top, and its black which is one of the most labour intensive colours to maintain a quality finish.

First I spray the whole car with a pressure washer set at a medium to high setting to remove any road grime and release any tougher muck like tar spots and bird shit.
Next i wash the car using the two bucket method, starting at the roof working my way down to the bottom, washing one panel at a time and rinsing off before washing the next, the soap used, poorboys slick and suds, washing with a lambswool mitt, not using a chamois, instead waffle weave towels to dry your car off.
I polish the car with a cleaner wax like poorboys polish with carnauba, which cleans up any fine scratches and removes any fine oxidisation and marks.
This is my regular maintenace method, then every few months if i feel it needs it i go over the whole car with menzerna FMJ sealant which is the best sealant i have ever seen.
