VTEC light is not hard to do.

Just tap into the green/yellow wire pin 15 on ECU Connector B(24pin).
That is second connector from left as you look at ECU.

Run the wire from that tap/splice to a 12v colored LED leg
Run Wire from the other leg on LED to an earth point.

Maplin sell automotive LEDs which dont need resisters added.

3mm 12V Red SB LED   CJ70M
3mm 12V Green SB LED   CJ69A
3mm 12V LED Yellow   CJ68Y
3mm 12V LED Green   CJ67X
3mm 12V HE Red LED   CJ66W

I have found another place where you can get a VTEC indicator light from
http://www.icemode.com/ On the site it shows a little movie to show you what happens.  Cheesy

Would like a start button though so I would have to choose between them Sad

You dont have to mount the Start button anywhere in particular, or the VTEC light. Anywhere that your willing to make a hole really. So there is by no means a reason you would have to chose between them.

ive fitted one to my car from http://www.icemode.com/  really good quality! took me around 45 mins to fit, as i made a little satand and extended the wires to the dash board next to the steerting wheel! if i didnt do that i would only take about 30 mins!

well worth the money IMO!

Hi folks I am icemode.
I supply the VTEC lights for the Civic - £19.95
Very pleased at the good response so far.
I owned a Sport, now CTR, and have a lot of love for all models of our car.
If you visit http://www.icemode.com you will find more info about the product. I generally only produce them with the 'R' logo but could supply them with blank fascia or 'S' logo if there is interest Cheesy

Hi icemod,

Glad you've signed up on the forums. Do you think you would be able to do them with a H Honda logo maybe? Then you could use them as a second option for all Honda drivers!

What are the mounting positions for the light that you would recommend?
