while replacing my subs power cable, ive come across a very clean and awesome place to route them, means you dont have to drill any holes in the car or cross over from the batt to the passenger side through the engine bay.

You need to take the offside front arch liner off its top line of fasteners, the strip of plastic running up the wing (in the top pic with the screws in it and the second pick im bending it out the way) under the bonnet and on the inside the bit of trim where the bonnet popper is, once youve done this youll see there are two holes plugged up with these little plastic bungs. I dont have foglights so i dont know if these would be used for routing foglight wires to a switch or whatever, im just assuming thats what they might be for.

Just slice a cross in the middle of one of them and shove your amp cable through, then pass the cable up through one of the slots in the plastic on the side of the wing and into the engine bay.

There, amp cable from interior to engine bay in about 15 mins and no drilling holes or fucking about.

And for getting to the boot from the drivers footwell, all my doorsill trim and rear quarter trim wasnt even taken off, i just levered it away from the floor with a screwdriver and fed the cable under with my finger, only difficult bit was the 90 degree corner on the rear where the bench is.

And if your really a perfectionist like me and want it to look totally tidy, i took the plastic off the bottom of the back seat and fed the cable through the little material pocket along the bottom of the seat, the cables are not seen anywhere until they pop out and connect to the amp.
