Suspension
The springs and shocks from the EP3 will not go straight on the EP1 and EP2. The EP3 is heavier due to the bigger K-Series engine and this means the spring rate is wrong for the EP2.
Eibach has some Springs

Name            Lowers by               Part #
Pro-Kit            30mm                    10-40-00101-22

Sport-Kit         45-50mm               20-40-001-01-22

PI have some Springs Lower 30mm Part # 35-186

KW have a Coilover Kit
Lowers 35-65mm Part # 15250008

Apex have some Springs lowers 35mm Part # 180-4000

Koni have Some Dampers/Shock Absorbers
 Front                                        Rear                           RRP
Sports  8641-1416Sport              8041-1281Sport           £96/£88 each
Special 8640-1415                      8040-1280                  £78/£66 each

Suspension Kit          SSK133           30-35mm Drop       £440

MotorSportWorld has good prices on these Dampers and Kits

Wheels
The EP1 and EP2 both have a 4 bolt wheel hub like the USDM EP3 (Si). The UKDM and JDM EP3 (TypeR) both have 5 bolt hubs.
Brakes
Again the bolt pattern comes into play, the TypeR brakes wont fit.
Some aftermarket disks and pads around.

Eibachs cost £169:99 if i remember and that was from motorsportsworld.co.uk. Then i had to find someone that would insall them for me, luckily i have this mod shop thats near me, they charged me about 100 quid all in to fit. They dont come with adgustables chambers though but im not bothered the ride height is great and as you can see from some of my pics the car is nicely lowered.

I didnt think the chambers was for the height of the suspension.......thought it was to do with wheel alignement?!

I have Eibachs Pro Springs 30mm drop circa £160.00 when new earlier this year.  Ride is great.  Avoid potholes as much as possible!!

I was working in the car industry when I got them.  My technicians advised me to have them fitted, run them in for a couple of thousand miles and then have a 4 wheel alignment done.  Since then the car has been no problem.  handling is supurb, tyre wear is even.  I expect the lower you go the greater need for a camber kit!

I would like to find dampers for them, but have way more mods to do this new year!

Kind regards

Daiyama Coilovers £545 inc delivery, good thing is that the front ears is adjustable therefore eliminate the problems of the stress angle of the track rod once lowering the EP Civics  Here is some pictures : -

Hello everyone,

some time ago I was told that it is not advised to replace only the springs (for e. g.  Eibach), because the standard shocks are adjusted to the longer (original) springs and the whole procedure would effect badly the shocks.  Now is it true or not???

Another thing: is it impossible the replace my EP2 shocks and springs for the Type-R's both front and rear, or it is just not advised.  What might happen if I perform the replacement???

Thanks for your answers.
