Airbag Light

Guys,

I removed my seats the other day top run cables for amp now my airbag light is still on!is this right??or are the sensors not connected properly or do i need to reset me ECU.

try taking terminal off the battery for like 10 sec or so and then put back on and see what happens might work!!

If the airbag light is on permanently, it looks like a trip to the dealers/performance tuners to reset the airbag module in the ECU as the car thinks they have been set off and only they can reset this.

Best to remember when removing the seats, always disconnect the battery before replacing/re-attaching the airbag sensors.

My is always on now. I have tried to disconnect the battery but it didn't work. So it looks like i have to go to the stealers than. I am planning to get some recaros i do i by past the air bag thing. I got told by a few people that you put a wire with a fuse on it connecting the two terminals together.

You can put an inline fuse in there, however you need to get the right resistance or you can blow the airbags.

You can buy an item called ''srs short connector'' which is the inline fuse that places like Honda will use and wil cancel the airbag light out. However, Honda are iffy about selling them to the general public. So either get very friendly, or searching about for somewhere else! Recaro might sell them
